Alan Assad is an internationally known art educator, who has created art instruction curricula for the Art Institute of Colorado, Fort Lauderdale, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Seattle and the Art Institute International in Madrid Spain. He has written articles for and has been published in "Trans-World Education" magazine. Alan received a B.F.A. from Carnegie-Melon University and M.Ed from the University of Pittsburgh. He presently is a classroom instructor at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and an online instructor for the Art Institute Online. In addition he is the art consultant for "The Art Academy at Douglas" in Monessen, Pa., the "Entertainment Production Business" program at DuBois Business College in DuBois, Pa., and the education consultant for “John Russo’s Movie Making Academy” in Pittsburgh, Pa.
